One Decision Outside Your Comfort Zone

One of the most incredible things to see in life is how the decisions and actions you took years ago have shaped your present, both for the good and for the bad.

One of the most incredible things to see in life is how the decisions and actions you took years ago have shaped your present, both for the good and for the bad. Public speaking has always been intimidating for me, and contrary to what many people think, I'm naturally an introvert. I'm also naturally an over thinker and analyst. I can remember being in undergrad and deciding to try out for a position on our Golden Eagles Welcome Week crew which was extremely outside of my comfort zone. However, intuitively I knew that if I wanted to be able to impact others positively later then I needed to take this leap that would push me and help me grow. Thankfully, it paid off and I've learned and grown through similar experiences that have helped shape who I am today.

I absolutely love what I do at Clear Families Chiropractic on a day to day basis, but another joy in my life is being able to share that love with others and encourage them to do the same — or at the very least empower them to chase their dreams. This weekend I got to share a little of my heart from the stage at Dynamic Essentials, a regular place of growth for me since 2016 and a group of people I consider to be my family. What an honor and a blessing.

Part of this post is me being grateful for the life God has given me and the opportunities he's given me to be where I am today. The other part is to encourage you to do the same, and to be reminded that if you're not where you want to be (or where you are being called to be) it all starts with one decision to step outside of your comfort zone. Happy Monday! I hope you've started it off with being checked and adjusted if necessary by your chiropractor.

Living clear and connected,
